Your Support Matters

Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice (UUSJ), a 501(c)(3), needs your support to ensure we can continue our efforts in the areas of witness, education, and advocacy. We hold sacred the inherent worth and dignity of every person and strive for a truly multi-cultural democracy.

Today, our work is more important than ever to defend our democracy through advocating for fair elections; for racial, economic, and environmental justice; and stand as allies with people who are marginalized and disfranchised.

UUSJ provides a unique vehicle in our nation's Capital for engaging in national dialogues, civic actions, and advocacy efforts on issues facing our country in real-time, consistent with UU values in support of our mission to advocate, educate and empower to achieve just equitable national policies and actions.

Giving Guide

$60: Suggested membership
(any amount is graciously accepted for membership)
$100: Enables UUSJ to co-sponsor, promote, and participate in demonstrations in our capital
$200: Sustains UUSJ’s core organization
$500: Supports coordination and cooperation with other UU and faith-based organizations around issues of common concern
$750: Helps UUSJ research and publicize an action alert to avert injustice
$1,250: Funds Write Here! Write Now! national letter-writing campaign including congregational partnerships, issue research, and materials development
$2,500: Enables visits with Congressional staff to discuss UU positions and deliver constituent letters

Note, a generous donor has pledged a substantial investment during 2023 in recognition of our work and a desire to see continued civic engagement for our democracy on federal matters and to deepen collaboration among UUs in that work. The kind donor's funds will seed a series of matches throughout the year.
