I support Universal Voting Rights and Racial Justice, I therefore want to advocate in support of D.C. Statehood

The people of Washington, D.C., deserve the same rights as Americans living in the 50 states.

They want full voting representation in the U.S. Congress and an end to Congressional interference in their local government. (See our UUSJ petition for more details and background.)

One of the most important steps we can take right now to push for universal voting rights is to showcase that Americans throughout the nation care for D.C. Voting Rights and support the idea of D.C. Statehood.

We can help accomplish this with the creation of the 51st state, a state formed from the residential and commercial areas of the District of Columbia while preserving a smaller federal district as the nation's capital.
