UUSJ Fundraiser $25
free tickets also available
Rev. Cecilia Kingman, the author of the 2023 Berry Street Address, titled “My Little Pony Was Right: Reflections on Fascisms Without and Within,” will speak to UUSJ. Rev. Kingman will share her thoughts on how to recognize the less well-known characteristics of rising fascism, as well as her conviction that our faith as Unitarian Universalists compels us to resist it in all its forms.
We want to have a lovely, large, and lively audience. Please purchase a ticket if you can, and consider adding a little more if able.
Request a free ticket if that will make a difference in your attendance. We sincerely want you to join us.
The Rev. Cecilia Kingman has been studying authoritarian systems for most of her life and is currently doing doctoral work at the Pacific School of Religion on the responses of faith communities to fascist and totalitarian regimes. After the collapse of the communist dictatorship in Romania, she spent two decades working with the Unitarians of Transylvania to strengthen civil society and support sustainable agricultural and community development.
The cost for this event is $25, if you would like:
