Condemn Administration Actions and Rhetoric Attacking Migrants
In recent days, since the National Guard Shootings in DC, the Administration has launched a series of increasingly sweeping and cruel attacks against migrants. While all people of good will and peaceful expression are appalled at the shootings of two National Guardsmen in Washington, DC, the federal government’s leaders have gone far beyond seeking justice in that case and used it as a springboard to broad-ranging attempts to demonize and punish hundreds of thousands of migrants who have no connection to the shooting. Most are here legally and trying to work and raise families.
The exact shape of the Administration’s actions is hard to determine, given the often vague and vituperative language. Still, the deeply troubling tenor of them is clear: the President claimed he will:

Take action against these outrageous attacks and harmful threats by asking your elected member of Congress to denounce them and prevent the threatened actions.
The President’s language in discussing migrants, already hateful and unfounded, has been even more shocking of late in its broad, almost ludicrous characterization of the supposed impacts of thousands of our neighbors:
