Planning to attend in DC?

UUs are invited to join at either of two (2) locations as part of UUSJ's affiliation with WISC ( Washington Interfaith Staff Community).

10:00 a.m. - Site A: we invite our members and supporters to join Pablo and interfaith friends for breakfast snacks and sign-making at First Congregational United Church of Christ (945 G Street NW, Washington DC 20001). This will be a family friendly pre-rally activity.

Please join Pablo and RSVP with FCUCC so we have a proper headcount for snacks and sign-making supplies.
11:00 a.m. departure by foot to meet others at Site B.

10:45 a.m. - Site B: Gather with interfaith friends at the Southeast corner of 12th St. NW & Penn. Ave NW i.e., near the Statue of Benjamin Franklin, in front of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel at 1100 Penn. Ave. NW

This mass mobilization day is a message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of President Trump and his billionaire allies.
Alongside Americans across the country, we will be marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.

A core principle behind all Hands Off! events is a commitment to nonviolent action. All participants are expected to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
