Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice (UUSJ) needs your support to continue our efforts in the areas of witness, education, and advocacy during this pivotal time in our nation’s history. In this critical time, our work is more important than ever, as we defend our democracy by advocating for fair elections and preservation of constitutional democratic norms; promote economic and environmental justice; and stand as allies with our immigrant siblings against marginalization and deportations. We support protecting Black lives from police brutality and economic injustice, and improving public health measures that respond to their increased risk during the coronavirus crisis. 

To expand our influence and assure greater engagement from our supporters, we have recently made some changes to assure that any contribution makes you a member of UUSJ, with voting privileges during our biennial review of our primary focus areas.

• $60:  Suggested membership amount (ANY amount is graciously accepted for membership)
• $100:  Enables UUSJ to co-sponsor, promote, and participate in demonstrations in our capital
• $200:  Sustains UUSJ’s core organization
• $500:  Supports coordination and cooperation with other UU and faith-based organizations around issues of common concern
• $750:  Helps UUSJ research and publicize an action alert to avert injustice
• $1,250: Funds Write Here! Write Now! national letter-writing campaign including congregational partnerships, issue research and materials development
• $2,500: Enables visits with Congressional staff to discuss UU positions and deliver constituent letters
