UUSJ's Write Here! Write Now! Toolkit provides you with all you need to know to launch an effective letter-writing campaign to communicate with opinion leaders and policy-makers to advocate for positive change, or to express a point of view on public issues facing your community, state or our nation. The opportunity to write personal letters (not form letters) will let public officials and policy-makers know how our faith and values compel us to seek a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. Make letter-writing a spiritual practice! 

Normally, UUSJ’s Capitol Hill Advocacy Corps makes visits to offices of members of Congress in Washington, DC every month. Due to COVID-19 congressional offices are closed to visitors and we are not able to make office visits and deliver your letters personally at this time. But we are still arranging for letters to be delivered. We call and identify the appropriate congressional staff and arrange for your letters to go directly to the key staff person. This helps us maintain and build relationships with staff for the long haul.
