A: Celebrating our successes:

• 114,000 calls made to voters in TX during General Assembly with UU the Vote.
• 20,000+ postcards written to voters in TX, NC, GA and FL by Reeb/UUSJ congregations since April.
• Reached out to voters to have conversations about racial justice with Standing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ).
• Participated in National Vote By Mail Day, which reached 3.6 million voters by text and 54,000 voters by phone.
• Voting rights/electoral organizations activated in fourteen UUSJ-affiliated congregations across the DMV, all working on projects to help combat voter suppression! 
• Establishing actionable non-profit (501c3) partnerships withUU the Vote, Reclaim our Vote, Forward Together NC, Showing Up for Racial Justice, NextGen, EarthDay, CASA and Faith in Public Life.

B: Asking if you want to join us?  

• Send postcards to voters:
  We’re working with Reclaim Our Vote to write postcards to voters who have been purged from the voter rolls, encouraging them to re-register and to commit to vote. Is your congregation involved? If you’re not sure or you want to start a postcarding team, email kelsey@uusj.org
• Help Pennsylvanians apply for mail-in ballots: 
  In mid-August, we’re phone banking with our partner CASA to help at-risk voters in PA apply to vote by mail. Special opportunity for Spanish speakers: if you are comfortable texting in Spanish, CASA also needs help with a Spanish-language text bank! Sign up
• Register Virginians to vote and apply for mail-in ballots:
  Throughout August, we will be working with different partner organizations to help combat the voter registration slump in Virginia and help Virginians apply to vote by mail. We are sketching out exciting opportunities with Faith in Public Life and others. Sign up 

C: Wondering if you want to help reach out to fellow UUs?

• Make calls to North Carolina:
  We’re working with our UU friends at Forward Together NC to do weekly calls into North Carolina as part of their weekly Action Hours. Individuals can drop in any time they’d like, and each week will be “sponsored” by a congregation that will help bring volunteers to the phone bank. Sign up
• Partner with UU congregations in NC and VA:
  Do you have an active electoral/anti-voter suppression/get out the vote organization going in your congregation? Would you like to help another congregation develop something similar? Help us grow our organizing power, and sign up to partner with a UU church in VA or NC to help build an organizing team to help turn out the vote this year! Sign up
• Get Out The Vote!
  Ready to make calls to your friends and neighbors making sure that they have everything they need to vote this year? Ready to ask your friends and neighbors to help you make calls into NC, PA and VA in the days leading up to the election?
